This page lists a number of resources that are available for viewing or downloading. Each document is identified by name, its source, length and file type. Depending on your browser configuration, these linked documents may open in new windows or may download directly to your computer.

These same resources are located throughout the resource library with a fuller explanation of the content of the document.

1.  Work Order / Metadata Form, June 2018.

This form should be used when requesting us to upload your book to iBooks and/or Google Play, whether we’re formatting the book or not. It includes sections on formatting and uploading.  Download in DOCX format.


2.  Work Order / Metadata Form for Formatting Only Requests, June 2018.

This form should be used when requesting us to format your book for ebook or print, when you plan to handle all uploading tasks.  It’s a shorter form than the one above, and only includes questions about formatting. Download in DOCX format.


3.  AEMS Font Style Sampler for Print Interiors  PDF Format

This is a short (40 or so pages) PDF that shows a variety of formatting options we can use in your print book.  This is only the tip of the iceberg—we have over a thousand fonts and glyphs we can use.  The sampler shows different body fonts, different line spacing options, different chapter heading treatments and more. After previewing, please let me know if there are formatting elements you like (or hate!), and we can incorporate that information into our initial PDF proof for your approval.


4.  CreateSpace to IngramSpark Transfer Process 2018  

This documents a step by step process for transferring paperback titles with author-owned ISBNs and set for Expanded Distribution on the CreateSpace dashboard to a new author-owned dashboard at IngramSpark. Amazon has closed the CreateSpace interface and now allows indie publishing of paperbacks via the KDP dashboard. These same instructions continue to work, simply substitute KDP for CreateSpace as you work through process.  Download in DOCX format.
