Ken and Lisa Kessler offer authors support services upon payment of an annual membership fee. This includes calendaring upcoming releases, creating resource files for guest blogs, reviewers and media, quarterly review of your website and social media with notes on what to update.  Extra services are available to members at a la carte prices including creating websites, Facebook author pages, establishing street teams, training on Facebook and Twitter and more.

Author RX

Melissa Hermann Jolly offers variety of support services to keep authors sane.  Services include designing social media banners and backgrounds, bookmarks and newsletter templates, plotting and research assistance, ghost writing of blog posts and interviews, coordinating speaking engagements, contests, book releases, mailing list management, promotion mailings, organizing email and managing fan mail, social media maintenance and managing discussion groups.

Author Sidekick

Jan Lewis is a full-time Virtual Assistant and Author’s Assistant and offers clients her expertise in project management, Microsoft Office, and social media management. Hourly rate services include email management, newsletter creation and distribution, scheduling, travel, media kits, press releases, blog management, fact checking, proof reading, bookkeeping, event planning and more. Formatting and website development are also available.

Author’s Life Saver

Jessica Lewis offers services to help authors meet their professional obligations, including help keeping social networking up to date, blogging, answering fan mail, formatting e-books, sending out promotional materials, editing or proofreading. Also offers e-book and POD book  formatting, scanning, assistance with newsletters and designs cover art.

Author’s Pal

Danielle Gorman is romance book reviewer and also offers virtual assistant services to authors. Services include sorting and prioritizing email, beta reading, creation and coordination of street teams, mailing out promo items, organizing blog tours and contests/giveaways, organizing and sending ARCs for review, creation of website banners, button designs and social media assistance.

Author’s Write Hand

Heather is an avid reader and book blogger who began offering author services in 2013. She and Kelly provide social media management, blog posting, event management, website development and administration, calendar maintenance, book release events and online parties, street team creation/management, blog tours and much more.

Authors Assistant Agency

Annette Stone assists authors with promotions, marketing and administrative needs including website design, street team management, physical mailings, social network maintenance, newsletters and blog tours.

Blurb Bitch

Carol Ann is a blurbologist who creates and refines blurbs for authors. Will work on any genre.

Publishing services company created and run by authors and professional editors, offering a one-stop option to indie and traditional authors alike. Jaime Engelhart is a freelance marketing writer offering services that include writing press releases, advertisements, web content, social media assistance, e-newsletters and blogs.  Editing and proofreading also available.

Kourtney has recently launched the specific service of compiling series bibles for authors. This group now offers Author Personal Assistants (APA) at an hourly rate to assist with promoting your book in addition to set price services. This group offered direct services and consulting in author branding, coaching, career strategy, social media strategy, marketing plans, all forms of promotion and even street team management.  In addition, their site is a clearinghouse for connecting with other freelancers for book production.

Melissa Deckman coordinates self-directed assistants working with a limited number of authors, offering formatting and uploading of ebooks, social media and website updates, mailing list maintenance, newsletters and much more.
