Authors are using it to create a daily newspaper that’s impressive looking and full of fascinating content.
Paper.li is the brainchild of some smart folks in Lausanne, Switzerland. They’ve developed a way to curate specific feeds from Twitter or Facebook. The service is free, and numerous authors are using it to create a daily newspaper that’s impressive looking and full of fascinating content. A great way to include non-Twitter folks in what’s happening on a Twitter stream.
After creating your account, you give paper.li the parameters of what content to follow. The simplest way is to create a public list of people you follow on Twitter. You can create the newspaper then review a few issues before you ever mention it to anyone. You can tweet about it, mention it on Facebook, and they even have a widget to include your paper.li on your blog or website.
From the homepage, use their search box to search for “publishing.” We came up with 186 pages of content. Subscribe to any or all of them. Paper.li merely sends subscribers one daily email to remind you that the new edition is posted.
